Les Allen, Jr. is the President and CEO of The BlackStar Companies. BlackStar is a conglomerate built with strategic partnerships that allow it to continually develop and market innovations in the construction, sustainability, and energy industries.

His biggest strength is to intuit where the market is going and find strategic partners that build the BlackStar brand nationally. Les has built BlackStar from a local building company to its success today.

Les has over 25 years of experience in all aspects of housing and construction services. While serving as an Assistant Director of Housing for the City of Dallas he managed close to $40M of infrastructure improvements, and commercial, mixed-use, and affordable housing development. His proven record of taking projects from start to finish on budget and on time is the asset he brings to all BlackStar projects.

Under his leadership, The BlackStar Companies has been recognized for the firm’s dedication, commitment and success. Patience, planning and perseverance are the guiding principles he has used to build BlackStar entries into new markets, industries and partnerships.
